Training Modules

Intermediate Level

Suitable for groomers who have completed the basic grooming course or with minimum 6 months grooming experience. Training includes scissoring techniques, finishing drying, grooming with snap on combs, scissor finish groom and basic teddy styling.

Day 1

Learning the foundation

The scissoring techniques and the Theory of 1-2-3. Grooming demo by May and grooming by groomers on model dog heads

Day 2

Teddy bear styling on poodle coat

Grooming demo by May. Learn how to use the finishing dryer. Each groomer will be grooming a poodle in basic teddy styling using snap on comb and scissor finish

Day 3

Teddy bear styling on oodle coat

Grooming demo by May. Learn the tricks of creating cute teddy face on oodle coat. Each groomer will be grooming an oodle dog in basic teddy styling using snap on comb and scissor finish

Day 4

Teddy bear styling on drop coat

Grooming demo by May. Learn how to create round teddy face on drop coat. Each groomer will be grooming a drop coat dog in basic teddy styling using snap on comb and scissor finish

Advanced Level

This training is suitable for experienced groomers who wish to improve on more advanced head styling focusing on different head styles

Day 1

A quick revision of the Theory of 1-2-3 and scissoring techniques. Grooming Demo by May working on angulation. Groomers will be working on angulation on model dogs

Day 2

The Basic Teddy Bear Head Styling

Grooming demo by May. Learn the basic Teddy Bear Head Styling on poodle coat and oodle coat. Focusing on the head styling, groomers will be given 2 dogs each to complete.

Day 3

The Bichon Head and Mushroom Head Styling

Grooming demo by May. Learn the tricks of creating cute Mushroom Head and Bichon Head. Groomers will be given 2 dogs each to complete both head styling

Day 4

The Teddy Bear Head on Drop Coat

Grooming demo by May. Learn how to create round teddy face on drop coat. Groomers will be given 2 dogs each to complete
